Homeland Security Adviser Resigns

White House homeland security adviser Tom Bossert is exiting the Trump administration, another loss during a tidal wave of personnel changes in the administration.

Bossert is leaving one day after national security adviser John Bolton started his position and two days after Michael Anton, the National Security Council spokesman, also resigned.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement Tuesday that Mr. Trump was “grateful for Tom’s commitment to the safety and security of our great country.”

White House press briefing will likely delve deeper into the decision later today.
